It’s Friday and I need to go into town for an eye doctor appt. Then to the bank and maybe a few other chores. We walked a little later this morning at 6:50. Sunrise is at 7:06 so it’s pretty light when we got there.
I’m going to catch up on some laundry and then our new refrigerator gets delivered today. The old one is still clunking away. I hope we like the new one. We’ve never had a bottom freezer so ..
This weekend I’m going to go the nursery and pick up some garlic and potatoes to plant. I think we’re just at the edge of it being too late.

Just blows my mind that you can be planting in Feb! We have a garden every year but it is only a few months of harvesting in the summer. I think the earliest we have planted anything is beginning of May. We mostly just do some veggies like green beans, tomatoes, lettuce, broccoli, squash. We don’t do any root veggies but maybe we should try it.
New refrigerator sounds awesome. We replaced ours a couple years ago but I stuck with the side by side….wasn’t sure I would like the bottom kind. I don’t like change much, lol!
Garlic can even be planted in December. 🙂 Right now our weather is great. It’s going to be 70 this weekend. I hope I like the bottom freezer. I’m with you, I don’t like a lot of change. I like same old same old. Guess that’s why I’m still married to my high school sweetheart… 🙂
