I had a nice walk this morning, and the park was empty except for a dog running around loose. I asked the park guy when he got there to call someone, but he didn’t seem very inclined and shrugged it off. Sigh, I hope he gets caught and not hit by a car.
I’m really loving my RingConn ring to track my 02. Overall, I’m pleased with the results. My Apple Watch will often show a lower 02 but it seems that maybe due to turning in bed or getting up. So right now, I’m feeling encouraged and my Resmid score last night was 100%.
Today, I plan on going to the gym in Auburn and then home. I don’t need any groceries, so I’m set there. Last night we had chicken salad on romaine lettuce.
I feel my blog is getting boring and repetitive, so I may take a break. I do like keeping track as a journal of what’s going on, but my life is not what it was. No RV’ing, not much of anything really. Just living day to day. I’ll think about it and see how I feel.
I did order some Prime Day deals, like a new Speedo. Mine was starting to wear thin, and on Prime it’s half off, so a good deal. I have labs tomorrow, so I might go to the pool afterwards if it’s not too late. This week is also my oncology appointment in Sacramento. Hopefully, my labs will come in before I see him.
I’m on a sabbatical from my blog, and I’m very happy I made that decision. It has been years since I’ve known what it’s like not to blog, and it has been quite interesting. Also, sometimes you just need to hit escape velocity.
I’m thinking about it, but it does keep me focused, and you write much more complicated blogs than I do. Mine are very simple.
I don’t find your blog boring at all. It is a day in the life – California style. I find you interesting.
Gee thanks. I really blog as a way to keep track of my life, and of course, it started as a way to reach other Myeloma patients. But as with anything, it evolved.
Your blog is never boring. You’re describing your life and your routines for dealing with everything from simplifying to budgeting. Menu planning snd exercising. You have provide a glimpse of life in the foothills of California.
Thanks, Nancy. Life seems to just be wash, rinse, repeat for now. But actually, I am very much a creature of routine, so I think that has kept me going.
I never find your blog boring. Your honest description of your life is so refreshing. Routines and habits keep everything on track. Mavis at 100 Dollars seems happy, but hers isn’t the life for me. I always look forward to reading your blog.
Thank you for the encouragement. I am truly appreciative of the people who take the time to read my blog.
Tut! It is the every day doing of life that make blogs interesting.
