We love using our new Lodge dutch oven. Every thing we’ve made has been great. Well, the cornbread was a little dry but that’s because we should have taken it out sooner as th oven is very hot for a long while.
Last night we did stuffed peppers with brown rice, mushrooms, onions, grated carrots and cheese and a tomato sauce( from the garden). It was great.
Then we had the pizza camping…
Then here’s a couple of pictures of how I make the tomato sauce. Very easy and I freeze the bags flat.
So then I add some salt red pepper flakes,basil and cook for 2-4 hours till nice and thick!!!
