Decluttering, the next level!

ImageWell, there’s not too much to get rid of but I did gather 3 bags of pantry stuff to take to the food bank. When I go thru each room, I ask what can leave and honestly, there’s not much because either it’s useful or beautiful to me. I have a few favorite books and a few cook books. Most of my kitchen stuff is used. So, the next level is still going out to our barn and go thru some old toys and stuff. Maybe this weekend.

  1. Good for you!! 🙂 I went through our basement last night & this morning and got rid of a tonne of “junk” and lucky for me it was garbage day, so cleared out!! Feels (and looks!) much better!!! It’s an ongoing process though, isn’t it!?

  2. I admire the declutterers of the world. My problem is that there’s a lot of stuff in the attic and the basement that I know is useful. I just don’t know how it can be useful at the moment . . . so I keep it around just in case. The consequence? My attic and basement are a mess. My solution? Don’t go in the attic or the basement!

  3. Very funny, I don’t go out to our barn for the same reason. There’s still a lot of stuff out there. But, something that did help me start the journey to minimalism was, what do we want to leave for our children to deal with. It sorta puts it in perspective. I’ve like your recent posts.
