It’s very busy in our little town for the big Pioneer Days event. When the kids were young, this was a special event; there is a parade, with candy being given out, fire trucks, etc. The park is packed with vendors for burgers to coffee to beer ( I think). We haven’t gone in years now; it could be fun. Anyway, I just got home from the gym because the road closes at 10:30.
I need to get some stuff ready for our overnight trip this coming week. I’m not saying too much till I’ve gone and come home. Plus, I need to do some household chores.
Mr Peabody was back and on the roof. I think he’s lonely, as his cries are not answered. I think he’s gone now as I didn’t see him when I drove in.
I hope you have a peaceful Sunday. Share what you’re up to!
I’ve done small chores (pruning, mending, muffin making) and soon we are going to walk down to the city’s Maker’s Fair which also features music and food trucks. Part of my “little outings” this summer initiative. Enjoy the rest of your day.
Ohh, food trucks. You’re lucky to live where you can walk to things. I could walk down to the store or even the park, but our driveway is very steep, and coming back up is a challenge.
I love peacocks!
I kind of wish he’d find a friend.
Checking in on your doings is now a Sunday night ritual for me; I am glad to read how you are doing.
Thanks, Urspo, for checking in!!
