We did end up having salmon and halibut last night for dinner. I put the salmon on parchment paper, added tomatoes and olives, and then used olive oil to coat it all. It was quite good.
Monday- quiche and salad
Tuesday- bean burritos with toppings
Wednesday- soup of some sort, I need to get creative here and maybe look through some recipes. I think,actually, I’m going to do ramen bowls.
Thursday: Chicken from the freezer. I have French fries, too, so I might make chicken burgers.
Friday- pizza
Saturday- TBD
It’s raining here this morning, which is a bit of a surprise but welcome. I have a few house chores to do, along with making a sourdough jalapeno cheddar loaf.
i want to come over and eat your recipes!!! I am in Austria on holiday and just been introduced to a traditional Bavarian dish….weisswurst….minced veal and pork fat enclosed in pork skin and warmed, not cooked, in water; after one mouthful with my eyes closed, i reached for the fruit bowl for my supper!!! (The other meals admittedly are nice)
Austria sounds interesting. Some of my mother’s relatives were Austrian. I’m not sure where but that was the story.
