Thankful Thursday

We had quite a bit of rain the other night and I’m pretty sure that ends fire season. So that’s a huge relief.

Our walks have been starlite and so beautiful. I walked this morning and had some Dex breathing issues. It makes lung capacity a bit of a struggle but it does pass. Also, my heart rate is up some from Dex so that’s something to watch. I usually have a higher heart rate but this was a little more elevated.

Yesterday’s appointments went well and I left the infusion center by 12. I left Sacramento by 10:15 so I got up to Roseville with plenty of time to get a sandwich at Nugget. Traffic also wasn’t too bad.

I’m grateful for all the meal prep I do, so last night’s dinner was ready, and my daughter just had to put together the salad and boil some egg noodles. I had made honey mustard chicken the day before, so it was ready.

Tonight, I’m making crepes with spinach and mushrooms I need to use up. I’ll make a mornay sauce to cover. I’ll have it prepped so someone can just heat it up.

I’m so grateful for my LLS grant. My UHC premium was paid and it helps a lot.

Anyone have some thankfuls to share?

    • Yesterday was Dex day and I am managing it better this time, I think. Today my face is ‘red’ dex day so I decided to skip the gym which is a big deal to me to break my routine. 🙂

  1. I’m thankful we have car /tow ins. Hubby’s car towed to shop today 😩 . VERY thankful we are safe today in the very disturbing world😢

  2. I’m very thankful that I walked away from a car accident that totaled my car a couple weeks ago. Completely the other driver’s fault by the way. I still don’t understand how she did it…definitely distracted.
Also thankful that we have the means to replace the car although I hate car shopping.
Glad your treatments seem to be going ok. Take care

  3. You are a truly amazing woman. Even though you are once again undergoing treatment again, you still take care of yourself, though diet and exercise. You have turned your home into a beautiful sanctuary for you and your family. And you keeping learning and growing and shopping to stretch your budget regardless of the challenges you face.
I have a lifelong illness that require constant treatment and at times major surgeries. I wish I could do half the things you do.
You have become my role model for moving forward regardless of the challenges I might face. Know that you and you blog have bee so helpful to me and much appreciated.
